Video Games I’m Most Excited For: No.1

#1 – Resident Evil 6

This game was announced recently and I really don’t think I could be more excited. There were a few grainy viral videos floating around claiming to be genuine trailers and Capcom refuted them all. Something tells me these knockoffs really lit a fire under their asses, because less than five months after the first few surfaced, here is the legitimate debut trailer:

Now this game is the ONLY game I’ve ever come close to getting 100 percent completion, EVER. I’m sure you can see why it’s so near and dear to my heart.

I’d say the most exciting changes to this wildly successful series are a return to the staples that really made it popular. The T-Virus is back in full force. No more angry African Las Plagas chasing you. We’re talking GENUINE zombies again. Also there are non-infected human characters to face off against as well. Series favorite Leon Kennedy is back. A hulking figure similar to Resident Evil 3’s Tyrant is in place here. Zombie policemen, dogs, crows….all back! If I was to say I wasn’t a little tired of the sudden influx of zombie inspired media, I’d be lying. But the thing is - Resident Evil did it the best, first.
